In 2022, the Belgian group Heytens, known as “the specialist in infinitely customizable made-to-measure blinds and curtains,” entrusted us with the renovation of their new store in Lausanne.
The group is expanding rapidly and aims to infuse each of their new stores with fresh dynamism and a distinctive identity.

Our mission extended beyond design: we also handled all administrative procedures to obtain building permits and supervised every stage of the work, from demolition to furniture installation.
In this project, we created a warm ambiance using high-quality materials such as oak, walnut, looped wool, and steel. Subtle touches of blue and terracotta were carefully integrated to add a hint of color.
As is customary for us, we had the pleasure of collaborating with artists to create a truly unique decor. Pamina from Kariokas crafted a magnificent mural depicting a landscape from Vaud, featuring a view of the lake and mountains through a perspective of arches.
The custom wood fittings, backlit niches, and “point-of-sale furniture” were crafted by our artisans to meet our clients’ needs for daily use.
We also designed a stunning bespoke sofa that seamlessly integrates into the space, positioned opposite a curved wall adorned with luxurious curtains.
All the furniture was crafted in Italy by renowned artisans known for their exceptional craftsmanship.

Témoignage de notre Client :
« We commissioned Cécile Morel Interior Architecture to renovate our two Heytens stores in Geneva and Lausanne.
Cécile Morel took care of all the building permit applications, created the decoration concepts, and supervised the construction work. We entrusted her with a comprehensive mission.
We asked her to create a different identity for our two stores, drawing inspiration from the geographical positioning of each location.
We had several specific requirements to integrate into the layouts in order to showcase our products for our customers while providing a practical and comfortable work environment. Cécile and her team met our expectations; the stores are successful, and our customers appreciate the ambiance created in both stores.
We thank Cécile Morel for her meticulousness and the attention she brought to the realization of these projects.
We highly recommend the services of Cécile Morel Interior Architecture. »
